This is gold! Just something I noticed with the shot-direction: Having Eva 01 on the left side of the screen, and then cutting to the right side to show Shinji is a bit jarring. The original composition worked well in juxtaposing Shinji to both Gendo and the 13th angel. I'm not sure if you changed this because you didn't want to mirror the shot one-to-one from the original show, but I think it would have worked better that way.

Regardless, this is great as always!

lol thanks man! I think two stars is pretty fair. Typically people don't love low effort stuff on NG and this is about as low effort as it gets. They wanna see you squeeze yourself like a lemon and make the best work you can! Which I think is badass! I have a new toon comin' down the pipe which is gonna have a bit more production value than this. Stay tuned. B>)

Looks great so far! Are you using Blender for the 3D space along with 2D assets, or are those grease pencil drawings?

theyre 2d assets i made in clip studio! I started this before I really understood how to do grease pencil stuff so it might be a bit weird and stupid looking in the end, but i think its a lot of fun either way
